"New Era Art. Exhibition 2026" New York
---Curator: Sam Mei 05/01/2026

The year 2026 marks a singular and novel historical juncture for the world, as humanity stands on the precipice of a profound shift in civilization's paradigm. The Meta Art Foundation (MAF) acutely perceives that contemporary society has entered a complex context woven from digital order, geopolitical friction, and technological alienation. This exhibition is not only MAF's first in-depth response to the changes of our era since its founding, but also a strategic inquiry into this historical inflection point we call the "New Era of Civilization".

We have brought together five artists with cross-cultural representation from Europe, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region. Our goal is to establish a precise humanistic "Calibrator" amidst the friction between digital wastelands and physical reality. MAF intends to institutionalize this initiative, ensuring that the exhibition remains synchronized with the shifting rhythms of global civilization, catalyzing a visual landscape with contemporary vitality through an annual dialogue.

Opening Night Highlights

"All things are not about the result; entropy is itself."

In the heart of New York, the Meta Art Foundation invited the world to step into a state of MetaEntropic Pause. This footage documents the vibrant collision of digital order and physical reality during the opening of the New Era Art Exhibition 2026.

More than a convergence of aesthetics, it was a collective calibration of human spirit. Amidst an atmosphere of sophisticated intimacy, we explored the infinite boundaries of civilization. As the MAF series evolves into a perennial organism of global art, we invite you to revisit the spirit of this transformative evening.

Opening Reception

Profound Visual Dialogues of the Featured Artists:

  • Duofu: The founder and practitioner of his personal theory, "MetaEntropism". Duofu emphasizes that all things are not about the result—entropy is itself. MetaEntropic art is merely a state of "Pause" enacted by the artist. Through the intersection of vertical and horizontal crosses within a space of color and brushstrokes, his paintings seek the revelation of the "Primordial Spirit" (Yuan Shen) at the critical tipping point of ordered entropy.

  • Nijat Hushur: Utilizing a powerful cross-cultural visual vocabulary to intervene in contemporary discourse, he provides a perceptual dimension of historical depth and chromatic tension for the calibration of civilization.

  • Philip Read: Categorized within the field of painting, he explores the visual evolution and rebirth of spirituality across flowing time through experimental layering of color and physical media.

  • Sin-ying Ho: Reconfiguring globalization and technological symbols within ceramic sculpture, she explores the relationship between non-materiality and organic life within a chaotic world landscape.

  • Yu Letu: As a contemporary successor to Northern Song Dynasty Imperial Porcelain, he masters the laws of "Yaobian" (kiln transformation) through the extreme tempering of fire and clay, revealing the eternal tranquility of matter in a state of entropy.

Final Thoughts

This is more than a convergence of Eastern and Western aesthetics; it is a response to the artistic order of a new global era. MAF seeks to re-establish art as a field for the "Witness of Existence" at the boundary between material decay and virtual emergence, summoning a new art and a new civilization.

Looking Ahead, MAF will continue to organize a series of curatorial activities, ensuring that artistic practice resonates with the pulse of global development. We are committed to transforming this platform into a perennial organism within the global art ecosystem, evolving alongside world art in a constantly changing coordinate of time and space to explore the infinite boundaries of human civilization.
